Ancient Khmer

The term Ancient Khmer referred to anything originating from the Khmer Empire, an empire which ruled from southeast Asia from the 9th century to the 15th century.

When describing the fictional culture and style of the Ukelu for the planet Ardani, Thaddeus Troi-Riker described it as a mixture of the Byzantine and the Ancient Khmer. (PIC: "Nepenthe")
