Alpha I was the inhabited first planet in its star system. This planet was located somewhere in the Alpha or Beta Quadrant.

La'An Noonien-Singh was born on this world on December 8, 2228. (SNW: "Strange New Worlds")

This planet was only mentioned in writing.
In the Star Trek: Star Charts ("United Federation of Planets I"; "United Federation of Planets III") and Stellar Cartography: The Starfleet Reference Library ("Federation Historical Highlights, 2161-2385"), there was a star system named Alpha in the Alpha Quadrant. This was a single star system with a yellow star. This could be the planet's system.
