Alexander Hamilton was a Human statesman from the United States of America. He was killed in a duel.

In 2267, Trelane dueled against Captain Kirk with a matched set of pistols like those which had killed Hamilton, a man he considered to have been heroic. (TOS: "The Squire of Gothos")
