Aldus Prime

Aldus Prime was the prime planet of the Ross 614 system. This planet was located in the Beta Quadrant and was approximately 13 light years from Sol. (ENT: "Cold Front")

History

Sometime before September 2151, a major historical battle took place at this planet, and the orange color used for the label "Aldus Prime (Ross 614)" on an United Earth star chart was an indicator for this event. (ENT: "Cold Front")

In the 2150s, this system's position was labeled on an United Earth star chart which was displayed in several crew and guest quarters aboard the Enterprise. (Star Trek: Enterprise, set decoration)

This planet was only mentioned in writing.
The identification of orange with a historic battle was made in the key to the star charts in the Star Trek: Star Charts.
