Adil Hussain (born 5 October 1963; age 61) is an Indian actor who played Aditya Sahil in the Star Trek: Discovery third season episodes "That Hope Is You, Part 1", "People of Earth", and "That Hope Is You, Part 2".

Hussain is best known to Western audiences for his role as Santosh Patel, the protagonist's father in 2012's Life of Pi. Since 1986, he has appeared in numerous Bollywood productions in his native India.
