Wretched Rats are an entity unlike any previously discovered species. Its description, drops on death, inflicting of Insanity and other references hint at a possible Madness-induced, artificially-engineered origin.

A twisted version of a rat, a Wretched rat can be identified through it’s skullish face, fuzzy body, and wormy tail. The Wretched Rat scurries toward prey in a straightforward fashion. Attacks by dealing contact damage and through use of a spectral fang projection. The Wretched Rat's attacks deal Poison type damage and inflict Insanity.
