Wraith is a unique monster found in Eldritch Field, Elder Core, Eldritch Forest, and Haunted Forest minibiomes.

They attack with projectiles and opening a lot of portals, aka ☀Astral Tear  akin to those done by Asuterosaberu DX . Their attacks can reach anywhere in the map of close proximity, quite powerful to have as a pet.

DO NOT bring him to your fossil hunts as his portals can destroy your fossils even during extraction.

Can't be harmed by Physical weapons - keep in mind that if you do not have a weapon that can damage these creatures *run*

Notes

  • The Wraith's astral tear portal attacks have particle effects that can cause considerable machine lag on slower machines. Their high spawn rates in certain biomes can render surface exploration difficult for this reason.
    • While the Wraith is a powerful pet, this trait might also be a concern.
  • In a pinch, the mining laser/cannon can harm them if you lack a more appropriate energy weapon
