Small FTL Drive allows your BYOS ship to travel anywhere. It replaces a more primitive STL Drive, which could only travel within the same system.

Note: Small FTL Drive can travel within the system too, so once you have it, you no longer need your old STL Drive.

You need fuel to travel between the stars. Travel within the system is free.
