Precursor Mainframe is a superior version of Precursor Data Box. It produces more than twice as much Ancient Essence (1.2% compared to 0.5%). Paired with a Duplicator, it can generate a massive amount of both Research and Essence while only requiring Power and Fuel.
The only way to obtain it is as loot in Precursor biomes and Precursor mission. If you have already found one Mainframe, you can craft more of them.
