Magnet Grip I is a leg tech available in Frackin' Universe. It is the upgrade to the Triangle Jump and as such is very similar albeit with enhanced abilities and effects compared to it.
From a brief glimpse the Magnet Grip I might seem like it does not improve much about the Triangle Jump, but it has differences to it's predecessor and is worth the effort to upgrade to.
Unlike the Triangle Jump, when a player first attaches to a wall they will not immediately begin sliding down the wall. This both reduces the timing requirement and allows a potential moment to stay out of danger briefly.
Additionally the Magnet Grip I does not force the player to jump away from the wall. If a player moves in the direction of the wall while jumping, they will not be launched from the wall and instead will climb up slightly.
This is a huge benefit that the Triangle Jump does not have, where players must repeatedly jump off the wall then double jump back to scale a tall wall.
