This weapon requires you to "charge" the attack before releasing. At the lowest level of charge, two small fireballs are released in a fairly flat trajectory. At maximum charge, there are 5 fireballs released. There is no alt-fire for this weapon. Going by the in-game tooltip alone, a maximum-charged shot deals 6.5*5 at the cost of 200 energy, making this weapon among the worst in the game.
