The Cryopod is a small flying creature akin to its relative the Pteropod. Adapted to environments of frozen cold, this creature also stores precious and volatile liquids in the swinging sack beneath its torso. While its kin the Pteropod stores digestive juices and poisonous concoctions in its pouch, the Cryopod has adapted even more complex and viscous biological evolution. Stored within its sack is hyper-compressed moister from its environment, that when released, create a blast of frozen ice clouds. Easily identifiable at a distance, the Cryopod is a bright icy blue color.

This creature is capable of quick flight, and combined with its small size, it can be a challenge to hit at range. Less aggressive and more skittish than the common Pteropod, this creature is more likely to swoop away from prey and remain at a distance to attack with its ranged explosive mist projectiles. The Cryopod's normal breath attack at medium range causes slow and ice damage, whereas the Cryopod's ranged triple shot icy explosive mist attack can leave a target "Frozen" on a successful hit. This attack is however, quite inaccurate.

~ The Cryopod possesses low health, but makes up for this with it's quick movements and tendencies to keep at range. Easily able to keep up with a player in outside environments, the Cryopod can be useful for it's ability to freeze targets in place for a couple seconds at a time.
