Dungeon Guide
This dungeon follows a fairly linear path. Simply head to the right, where you must fight through groups of Hylotl samurai wielding katanas and tamed beasts. At the end of the path, enter and ascend the floors of the main castle, where you must fight the Shogun Takeshi.
Beginning of the dungeon
You will start the mission on a teleporter located on a bridge. Head to the right and you will quickly reach the first building, where a total of 6 Hylotl samurai wait to attack you. After fighting them, exit the building and continue to the right. After you pass a small patch of growing Rice, 2 more samurai will attack you. You will then reach the dungeon's only split path, with one path leading you underground and the other leading you to the top of a small hill.
Underground Path
If you head underground, you will reach a house guarded by 5 samurai. After exiting the house, you will reach a small graveyard. Reaching the first tombstone will spawn 4 Gosmets. You can then exit the underground, and your path will converge with the Hill Path.
Hill Path
If you climb the hill, you will reach a house guarded by 4 samurai. Exit the house to the right, and your path will converge with the Underground Path.
Second part of the dungeon
Continue to the right, where you will reach a small shrine with a music box. When you approach, 4 Yokats will spawn. Cross the bridge to the right of the shrine, and you will reach a house guarded by 6 samurai. Head to the top floor of this house and pull the lever on the wall, which will open the gate to the right of the house. After crossing the opened gate, you will be attacked by 5 more samurai. To their right is a friendly Frog Merchant. To the right of the merchant, 3 more samurai await you. You will then find a pond with a patch of Coralcreep growing. After crossing the pond, you will reach a small tower guarded by 4 more samurai. Climb the small hill to the right of this tower, and you will reach the main castle.
The castle's first floor is guarded by 3 samurai. 3 more will be on patrol upstairs, but you can sneak past them. Head to the room to your right, where you'll see a tree in the background. The next room will be guarded by 2 more samurai. You will then reach the kitchen, which is guarded by another lone samurai. Upstairs from the kitchen, 4 more samurai are on patrol. Head into the room to your left and climb further up the stairs. You will find a bridge to your left - on it, the last 3 samurai. After killing them and crossing the bridge, head upstairs, where you will find a Mission Checkpoint and the door to the room containing Takeshi.
Takeshi is a much stronger Hylotl, but he operates similarly to the rest of the samurai. On his death, he will drop a variety of chest loot. Once he is dead, the door to the right of the arena will open, where you will reach the last room of the dungeon. This room contains the diamond pedestal to turn in the quest, several treasure chests, and a teleporter to return to your ship.
Secrets
If you exit the last building to the right, you will find 3 locked rooms with chests inside. Find out on the Secrets page how to open these rooms.
