Weeping Shield (5e Equipment)

Armor (shield), rare (requires attunement)

A sunken face on the front of the black steel shield with eyes of onyx. This shield constantly makes faint sobbing sounds that only a creature touching the shield can hear and grants you a +1 bonus to your AC. This bonus is in addition to the shield's normal bonus to AC.
As a bonus action you can cause the shield to let out a powerful sobbing at a creature within 30 feet of you. The target must succeed on a DC 10 Wisdom saving throw or the next attack roll it makes against a creature other than you before the start of your next turn has disadvantage.
