5e Mountain Encounters

The below tables are mountain encounter tables for different levels. You can add simple one-line encounters to the table.

Level 1 Mountain Encounters
	Description
1	4 wolves, snarling and hungry, surround the party at the edge of a cliff.
2	2 Aarakocra raise their spears at them, claiming they have entered their territory.
3	The players fall into a pit covered with snow (15ft) as someone peers at them through the bars on their cell, pulling a lever which releases 2 zombies.

Level 2 Mountain Encounters
	Description
1	A squad of dwarven trainees (8 guards with battleaxes), cold, tired, and bored of their drills, convince their reluctant sergeant (soldier^GGR with a battleaxe) to invite the party to a sparring match.
