You frenetically play your instrument and temporarily lose your self-control, leaving space for a death-like spirit to invade your body. Each creature in a 30-foot line that is 5 feet wide must make a Constitution saving throw. On a failed save, a creature takes 2d6 necrotic damage and is pushed 10 feet away from you in a direction following the line. On a successful save, a creature takes half as much damage and isn't pushed.
At Higher Levels. When you cast this spell using a spell slot of 3rd level or higher, the damage increases by 2d6 for every two slot levels above 1st.
