Arm and leg wraps, padded gloves, gauntlets... anything you could put over what you are attacking with. This weapon can be considered two weapons for the sake of Two-Weapon Fighting. If the user's unarmed strike damage die is greater than d4, this weapon's damage die becomes the same as their unarmed strike's damage die.
