Xurkitree
(Japanese: デンジュモクGX DenjyumokuGX) is a Lightning-type Basic Pokémon-GX card. It was first released as one of the SM Black Star Promos.
Card text
Prevent all damage done to this Pokémon by attacks from your opponent's Pokémon that have any Special Energy attached to them.
Discard the top card of your opponent's deck.
Your opponent reveals their hand. Add a card you find there to their Prize cards face down. (You can't use more than 1 GX attack in a game.)
Pokémon-GX Rule
When your Pokémon-GX is Knocked Out, your opponent takes 2 Prize cards.
Release information
In Japan, this card was included as a Regular card, a Full Art card, and as a Secret Rainbow Rare in the GX Battle Boost subset, each with artwork by 5ban Graphics. The Regular print was included as one of two English SM Promotional cards, available in the Ultra Beasts GX Premium Collection—Buzzwole & Xurkitree. The Full Art and Rainbow Rare prints were later included in the Ultra Prism expansion. The Regular print was later reprinted in the Japanese GX Ultra Shiny subset. A Shiny version of the Full Art print was included in the Hidden Fates expansion, which was also included in the GX Ultra Shiny subset.
