Release information
This card was included in the Roaring Skies expansion with artwork by Toyste Beach, first released in the Japanese Emerald Break expansion. It was reprinted as a Secret card in the Ancient Origins expansion with artwork by the same artist, first released in the Japanese Bandit Ring expansion. In Japan, the Emerald Break print was reprinted as a Mirror Holofoil in the Premium Champion Pack and again as a Non Holofoil in the The Best of XY subset.
During the Sun & Moon Series, a new print with different artwork by the same artist was available as a Yellow A Alternate card in the Battle Arena Decks: Black Kyurem vs White Kyurem from June 16, 2017. In Japan, the Emerald Break print was reprinted in the Ultra Sun Deck Build Box.
In Japan, the Emerald Break print was reprinted again during the Sword & Shield Era and was one of ten S-P Promotional cards that could be found in Extra Battle Day Promo Card Packs, which were distributed at Pokémon Card Gym venues hosting Extra Battle Day events from December 16, 2022.[1] It was reprinted twice more during the Scarlet & Violet Era as SV-P Promotional cards. The first, numbered 135/SV-P, was one of twelve cards that could be found in Extra Battle Day 2024 Promo Card Packs, which were distributed at Pokémon Card Gym venues hosting Extra Battle Day events from January 1, 2024.[2] The second, numbered 223/SV-P, was one of twelve cards that could be found in Extra Battle Day 2025 Promo Card Packs, which were distributed in the same manner at Pokémon Card Gym venues from January 1, 2025.[3] The S-P Promotional and SV-P Promotional prints are all Non Holofoil and feature the Extra Battle Day logo.
