The Trainer Battle Decks (Japanese: トレーナーバトルデッキ) are a pair of Japanese Pokémon Trading Card Game Standard Decks first available from January 25, 2019 exclusively at Pokémon Centers.

Information

Each 60-card pre-constructed Standard Deck focuses on one of the first two Kanto Gym Leaders, Brock and Misty, following their appearances in Pokémon: Let's Go, Pikachu! and Let's Go, Eevee!. Both products take inspiration from the Nivi City Gym and Hanada City Gym decks released in the Original Era, updated with Generation VII designs. The decks are named:

Misty of Cerulean City Gym Trainer Battle Deck (Japanese: トレーナーバトルデッキ：ハナダシティジムのカスミ Trainer Battle Deck: Kasumi of Hanada City Gym)

The Pokémon included in each of the Trainer Battle Decks are no different to those available throughout the Sun & Moon Era, whereas previous aspects of the TCG to feature Gym Leaders have included Owner's Pokémon or Pokémon SP. The signature Pokémon of each Gym Leader is however included in their respective deck as a Pokémon-GX: the Brock of Pewter City Gym deck features Onix-GX and the Misty of Cerulean City Gym deck features Starmie-GX. Each deck is also complimented by a number of Trainer cards, some of which benefit its primary type, as well as a quantity of Energy cards.

Each Trainer Battle Deck comes with a deck box, a playmat, and a set of card sleeves with artwork mirroring the box design, plus 44 damage counters, 2 status markers, 1 GX marker, and a coin. The two decks have a collective numbering system.
