Team Rocket's Meowth (Japanese: ロケット団のニャース Rocket Gang's Nyarth) is a Colorless-type Basic Pokémon card. It is part of the Destined Rivals expansion.
Card text
Choose a random card from your opponent's hand. Your opponent reveals that card and shuffles it into their deck.
Flip 3 coins. This attack does 20 damage for each heads.

All it does is sleep during the daytime. At night, it patrols its territory with its eyes aglow.

Release information
This card was included as a Regular card and a Full Art illustration rare card in the Destined Rivals expansion, first released in the Japanese Glory of the Rocket Gang expansion. The Regular print features artwork by Megumi Mizutani, while the Full Art illustration rare print features artwork by Shimaris Yukichi. A Holofoil version of the Regular print was included in the Team Rocket's Mewtwo ex Box, releasing on June 13, 2025.
In Japan, this card was reprinted as a Holofoil SV-P Promotional card and was available as an insert in two magazines published by CoroCoro: the July & August 2025 issue of CoroCoro Ichiban!, released on May 20, 2025; and Issue 94 of Pokémon Fan, a Pokémon-themed magazine, released on July 18, 2025. The Japanese SV-P Promotional print features the CoroCoro Ichiban! and Pokémon Fan logos in the bottom left corner of the artwork.

Origin
Meowth is a member of Team Rocket, specifically part of a trio with Jessie and James. Team Rocket leader Giovanni, who owns a Persian (an Evolution of Meowth) and whom Meowth admires, is featured on the card. Fury Swipes is a move in the Pokémon games that Meowth can learn. This card's Pokédex entry comes from Pokémon Scarlet.
