Effect
When the Pokémon successfully uses a status move, it has a chance of raising the user's Defense by two stat ranks. The skill can range from Shielding Infliction+ 1 to Shielding Infliction+ 9, with higher numbered skills resulting in a higher chance of activation. Shielding Infliction+ 9 will always raise the user's Defense by two stat ranks. Currently, only Shielding Infliction+ 9 is available on scoutable sync pairs.
