Rulings

Although this Shedinja is a Basic Pokémon, due to its Shell Survival Ability, it cannot be put into play by any means (including while setting up to play) except by a Ninjask's Cast-Off Shell Ability (such as on Ninjask from the same expansion). It is also ruled that this card cannot be the only Basic Pokémon in a deck because of its Ability.^[1]
