This card was included in the Paldea Evolved expansion, first released in the Japanese Triplet Beat subset. It was later reprinted in the Japanese Darkness Houndoom ex Start Deck. The English version was also reprinted with Darkrai stamp in the Battle Academy 2024.

Sharp Fang's Japanese name is that of the Razor Fang, a held item in the Pokémon games. Cross-Cut is an attack that first appeared on Scyther from Aquapolis. This card's Pokédex entry comes from Pokémon Scarlet.
