REND is an illustrator for the Pokémon Trading Card Game and the grand prize winner of the Pokémon Trading Card Game Illustration Contest 2022. Their submitted artwork would be used to create their first card, Arcanine, one of the SWSH Black Star Promos. REND became a regular contributor to the TCG with the release of the illustration rare Pawmi from the Paldean Fates expansion.

REND has been drawing since childhood, and went to school for illustration.[1] They have a semirealistic art style that has been described as invoking a nature documentary.[2]

REND has been a fan of the Pokémon series since Pokémon Ruby and Sapphire.[1]
