リョウガとゼクロム
Ryouga and Zekrom
(Japanese: リョウガとゼクロム Ryouga and Zekrom) is the eighteenth chapter of the Pokémon RéBURST manga.
Plot
Ryouga finally stands in front of Zekrom and asks for it to share its power with him just like it had with his father. Zekrom warns him that the power it will give him may put himself and his loved ones in danger. He tells Ryouga that while Garyū was strong he was also lonely and asks Ryouga if he's willing to endure that. Ryouga says he isn't and he wants to be powerful enough to protect everything. Zekrom is satisfied with his answer and agrees to assist Ryouga. Ryouga is happy he can finally become a full fledged Burst Warrior but realizes he doesn't know how to return to the real world. Zekrom shoots Ryouga with a powerful electric attack and the resulting shock wakes Ryouga up.
Miruto, Yappy, and Rend are overjoyed to see him awake and Miruto hugs him before backing off, flustered. Rend asks Ryouga if he saw Zekrom and when he says he did they have another battle this time on equal footing. Rend sends a large boulder hurtling down onto Ryouga but instead of being crushed Ryouga is able to destroy the boulder. Rend is impressed but before he can continue the battle he is pierced through by an attack from behind and collapses. Ryouga turns to confront the assailant who reveals themselves as Zengai, one of the Great Gavel's Seven Warriors. Zengai announces to an enraged Ryouga that they have come for the Original Burst heart.
