羅針盤の行方
The Compass's Whereabouts
(Japanese: 羅針盤の行方 The Compass's Whereabouts) is the thirteenth chapter of the Pokémon RéBURST manga.
Plot
Ryouga has a dream of being defeated by Hariru and he wakes up to find out that Miruto has been treating his injuries. He asks her what happened to his Burst Heart and the Compass of Light and she relays to him how Carola told Hariru that the boss of the Great Gavel instructed them not to take either item. Miruto speculates they may be planning for Ryouga to collect all of the burst hearts before taking them from him. Miruto tells him not to be upset about losing to Hariru but he says he isn't upset and instead he's glad to have found such a strong enemy. He tells Miruto they should set off to follow where the Compass of Light leads them but Miruto admits that Yappy has stolen the compass.
Elsewhere Yappy is gloating about his plans to sell the Compass of Light and become wealthy. He is then discovered by a group of children who mistake him for a Pansage and begin throwing Poké Balls at him before he yells at them and scares them off. Once he gets into town, however it turns out that no one is interested in buying the Compass of Light. A thug begins threatening him, however he is saved by a man named Rend. Yappy notices that the compass of light reacts to Rend meaning that he must have a Burst Heart. He tries to follow him stealthily but Rend catches him. Believing that Yappy is a Burst Warrior due to him having the Compass of Light Rend bursts into the form of a Boldore preparing to fight.
