Little Ghost (Japanese: ちいさなゴースト) is written and illustrated by Aya Kusube. It is the 33rd book in the Japanese edition of the Pokémon Tales series. This book is in Japanese and has not been translated into English.
Plot
A group of Haunter have gathered in a dark alley to play a game, and they decide on Horrorble Face- a game where they make scary faces in an attempt to scare the other. A small Haunter nicknamed Little One creeps away, as he's small and cute compared to the other Haunter and unable to play. Little One asks his family for advice- his father tells him he needs a piercing glare and slight grin, but when he tries to scare his mother, she's too distracted with the baby Gastly to notice. His grandfather tells him that being scary is about being confident, and he begins to wonder if he could ever be that scary. Back with the other Haunters, he's called over to play Horrorble Face and ends up making a face so terrifying he scares all the others- however he uses so much energy he ends up fainting. The others check on him, and he realizes they were never making fun of him.
