Let's Play Again, Porygon (Japanese: またあそぼうねポリゴン) is written by Toshiko Takashi and illustrated by Sumiyoshi Kizuki. It is the 22nd book in the Japanese edition of the Pokémon Tales series. This book is in Japanese and has not been translated into English.
Plot
A young boy creates a wooden robot in the shape of a Porygon and names it Unit 001, bringing it everywhere with him despite others bullying him over it. One day on the way back from school, a fire breaks out in a tunnel and he's knocked over, unable to walk or get help. He tries to send Unit 001, but it stays inanimate. The bridge begins to collapse, only for Unit 001 to grow large enough to hold up the bridge and becoming steel, keeping the tunnel stable for long enough for him to be recused. In the hospital, he wakes up to see his parents and Unit 001, back to normal size but still mechanical. The doctor's brother gives him a video game, which featured Unit 001 now called Porygon.
