• Sun and Moon arrive at Iki Town, where the festival commences.
• Moon is enlisted by Olivia to help decide the placement of the tournament entrees.
• Moon meets Lillie.
• Lillie's Cosmog, Nebby, runs off, forcing Moon, Lillie, and Olivia to chase after it to Mahalo Trail.
• Moon discovers a strange crack in the sky.
• Moon saves Nebby from a flock of wild Spearow, but Nebby causes the bridge they were standing on to be destroyed.
• Moon and Nebby are saved by Tapu Koko.
• After learning that Lillie was entered in the tournament as a mistake, Moon decides to take her place instead.
• The final participant in the tournament is revealed to be Gladion.
• Sun starts his battle against the Masked Royal.
