Seven's Real Identity In Peril (Japanese: ねらわれた素顔 Targeted Identity) is the second chapter of the Phantom Thief Pokémon 7 manga.
Plot
As Nazuna and Hiori take a meal break at Sun Sun, the former is preoccupied with thoughts of Pokémon 7 after he had rescued her, much to the shock of Hiori. Noting she had seen him leave from Hiori's house, she asks him if they are friends, and he nervously suggests she had the wrong house. A woman soon enters the shop, introducing herself as Mako, a magazine editor. She asks to speak with Hiori about Pokémon 7, as like him, he is a boy with a Lucario. She then accuses him of being the masked thief, making Nazuna laugh. Curious about her experiences with Pokémon 7, Mako interviews Nazuna.
Later that night, Hiori receives his next request, which is to find a notebook at the Daigakukan Building. As he arrives, he finds himself face to face with Mako, who had put out a fake request to trap Pokémon 7 and uncover his identity. She sends a Lopunny out at him, who attacks and knocks away his mask. Hiori's Lucario attempts to fight it, but Lopunny's speed is too much for it to handle. Mako then takes out a camera and begins to take photos, but he blocks his face with his arms. When she tries to move his hands away, she is struck in the back with her own Lopunny, who had been launched by an attack from Lucario. Her camera flies out of her grasp, and both she and Hiori reach for it. Lopunny is first to grab it, returning it to its Trainer.
Hiori tells Mako that he will unmask so she can take his picture, prompting her to get into position with her camera. Right as he puts his hands over his mask, he sends out his Mime Jr., who blocks the shot. Mime Jr. then steals her camera with Trick, bringing it to Hiori. Taking his Pokémon, Hiori leaps from the window, where he is caught by his Drifblim.
Some time later, Hiori looks through the camera to find he had unintentionally stolen many photos of Mako's news reports. Meanwhile, Mako faces her angry boss, lamenting that the effort she had put into her reports has all been lost.
