Release information
This card was included in the XY expansion, first released in the Japanese Collection X. It was later released as an Unnumbered Mirror Holofoil XY-P Promotional card and was available at the first Battle Festa held in 2013. People competing in the main Victory Battle event who achieved four consecutive wins at the initial 'Challenge Stage' received a copy of this print, which features the Battle Festa logo in the bottom right corner of the artwork. The Battle Festa was held at Intex Osaka, Osaka on December 15, 2013, and at the Tokyo International Exhibition Center, Tokyo on December 23, 2013.[1]
Two Japanese XY-P Promotional prints, both with the collection number 019/XY-P, were later released on January 31, 2014. The first was available as part of the Lizardon Mega Battle Commemoration Campaign. Customers who purchased ¥1,000 worth of Pokémon Card Game products at participating stores would receive a special pack containing one of four possible cards.[2] This print features the campaign logo in the bottom right corner of the artwork. The second print was packaged with copies of the Xerneas Half Deck Famitsu Navi Book and Yveltal Half Deck Famitsu Navi Book. This print does not feature any additional logo stamps.
Another Japanese XY-P Promotional print, numbered 125/XY-P, was subsequently available as part of a Pokémon Card Gym Deck Experience & Purchase Campaign. Between March 14 and May 31, 2015, people could visit participating Pokémon Card Gym venues and try out the M Rayquaza-EX Mega Battle Deck in casual games. Those taking part were given a Level Up! Guide, which was first distributed at Pokémon Card Gym Trial events in November 2014. For as long as stocks lasted, people who purchased a copy of the M Rayquaza-EX Mega Battle Deck at Pokémon Card Gym venues would receive the promotional Muscle Band card.[3] This print is Reverse Cracked Ice Holofoil and features the M Rayquaza-EX Mega Battle Deck logo.
In Japan, it was reprinted again in the M Master Deck Build Box Power Style and M Master Deck Build Box Speed Style towards the end of the XY Era, as well as in the The Best of XY subset and the Extra Regulation Box during the Sun & Moon Era. It was reprinted once more during the Scarlet & Violet Era and was one of twelve SV-P Promotional cards that could be found in Extra Battle Day Promo Card Packs, which were distributed at Pokémon Card Gym venues hosting Extra Battle Day events from January 1, 2025.[4] The SV-P Promotional print features the Extra Battle Day logo.
