Release information
Mega Turbo was included in the English Roaring Skies expansion, first released in the Japanese Emerald Break expansion. It was also available in Japan in the M Rayquaza-EX Mega Battle Deck and later as an unnumbered Holofoil XY-P Promotional card at each Rayquaza Mega Battle event. The XY-P print could be obtained by progressing to the second round in the main Rayquaza Mega Battle qualifying phase or by achieving a 2-match winning streak in the Rayquaza Mega Battle Last Challenge qualifier. The Rayquaza Mega Battle was held at the Nagoya Trade & Industry Center, Nagoya on May 5, 2015, at Makuhari Messe, Chiba on May 9 and 10, 2015, at the Sapporo Factory, Sapporo on May 23 and 24, 2015, and at Intex Osaka, Osaka on May 31, 2015.
This card was reprinted during the Japanese Sun & Moon Era in The Best of XY subset.
Rulings
Mega Turbo cannot be used to attach Energy cards to a Mega Evolution Pokémon ex.[1] The Japanese card texts make a distinction between Mega Evolution Pokémon (M進化) and Mega Evolution Pokémon ex (メガシンカex).
