Link Ability (TCG Pocket)

Link Abilities^[1] are Abilities present on Pokémon cards in the Triumphant Light expansion. These Abilities can trigger specific effects while the player has Arceus or Arceus ex in play.

Pokémon cards with Link Abilities, as well as Arceus and Arceus ex, include a unique icon as a watermark below the card text, noted to resemble that of the Arceus cards released during the Platinum: Arceus expansion of the TCG.^[1] These cards are part of the Themed Collection "Pokémon with Abilities that "Link" with Arceus" and all have a rarity of (with the exception of the Promo-A print of Raichu).

Eight Pokémon have Link Abilities, one for each type of Energy in the game. These Pokémon appear alongside Arceus in the animation of the immersive print of Arceus ex. Pokémon cards with Link Abilities, as well as Arceus, can have the Linked Sparkles cosmetic flair or the Linked Sparkles battle flair applied.

List of Link Abilities

These Abilities activate while the player has Arceus or Arceus ex in play:

• Power Link: attacks used by this Pokémon do +30 damage to your opponent's Active Pokémon — present on Carnivine and Tyranitar
• Speed Link: this Pokémon has no Retreat Cost — present on Heatran and Rotom
• Vigor Link: attacks used by this Pokémon cost 1 less Energy — present on Abomasnow
• Resilience Link: this Pokémon takes −30 damage from attacks — present on Raichu and Magnezone
• Cunning Link: once during your turn, you may do 30 damage to your opponent's Active Pokémon — present on Crobat
