Last Word (Skill)

Last Word (Japanese: ひんし時ばくはつ Explode When Fainting) is a skill in Pokémon Masters EX.

Effect

When the user takes damage from an attack that brings its HP to zero, the user uses Explosion. The damage the move deals is calculated like any other move, including the effects of the user's stat changes and passive skills.

After using the move, if there are still opponents remaining, the user faints. If the move knocks out all remaining opponents, the user does not faint, and the user's team wins the battle.

• Last Word is similar to the Ability Aftermath in the core series.
• Most sync pairs with access to Last Word are formed with Pokémon that can learn Explosion by leveling up in the core series games.
  • The two that are not, Glacia & Glalie and Jasmine & Steelix, only gain the skill upon Mega Evolving their Pokémon. In addition, Glalie and Steelix can both learn Explosion by TM or move tutor in the core series games.
