The Lapras ex Drop Event (Japanese: ラプラスexドロップイベント Laplace ex Drop Event) is a drop event in Pokémon Trading Card Game Pocket.

Event information

The Lapras ex Drop Event ran from November 5 to 18, 2024 and was the first drop event to be held in the game. It featured a set of four battles, ranging in difficulty from Beginner to Expert, for players to challenge. Players could obtain cards from the Promo-A series by receiving Promo Pack A Series Vol. 1, a possible reward for winning battles, which were more likely to be rewarded at higher difficulties. Each pack contained one of five potential cards:

  Lapras ex (Promo-A 14)
• 
  Pikachu (Promo-A 15)
• 
  Clefairy (Promo-A 16)
• 
  Mankey (Promo-A 17)

Getting an additional copy of a card the player already owned also awarded Shinedust: 10 Shinedust for packs containing Pikachu, Clefairy, or Mankey; 100 Shinedust for packs containing Butterfree; and 300 Shinedust for packs containing Lapras ex.

Event battles

The following battle rules were in effect for all battles:

• Rule 1: Maximum of 50 turns
• Rule 2: 3 points to win
• Rule 3: No time limit per turn

All opponents used the following accessories in battle:

• Meowth (coin)
• Meowth (card sleeve)
• Meowth (playmat)

Beginner battle

Both Lapras cards had the Bubbles (Light Blue) cosmetic flair.
