The grunts of the Go-Rock Squad are underlings introduced in Pokémon Ranger. They dress in a fashion similar to Go-Go dancers. The commanders who work at the Night Factory wear white coats, but still keep their glasses.
Description
Grunts are the lowest-ranked members of the Go-Rock Squad and perform all the group's dirty work. They each possess a Super Styler to capture and control Pokémon. They use Pokémon of various types, capturing those they find in their path. Some grunts are called "Top-Rank Grunts" and only appear at the Fiore Temple when Gordor tries to use his Power Styler. After Gordor's defeat and escape, they continue to operate in Fiore until Gordor returns to tell them to stop, after they steal the Manaphy Egg.
Each class of members are:
- The ordinary grunts, who are male and female;
- The Sinister-Men, who appear in the Rayquaza mission: they are actually grunts disguised in clothes similar to those of Hikers;
- The Top-Rank Grunts, who wear gray outfits and blonde (males) or purple hair (females);
- The commanders, who wear white coats.
