Card text
Once during your turn, you may search your deck for up to 2 Evolution

Pokémon, reveal them, and put them into your hand. Then, shuffle your deck.
During your opponent's next turn, this Pokémon takes 30 less damage from attacks (after applying Weakness and Resistance).
Pokémon ex rule
When your Pokémon ex is Knocked Out, your opponent takes 2 Prize cards.
Release information
This card was included as a Regular card, a Full Art ultra rare card, and a special illustration rare card in the Black Bolt expansion, first released in the Japanese expansion with the same name. The Regular and Full Art ultra rare prints feature artwork by 5ban Graphics, while the Full Art illustration rare print features artwork by kantaro.

Genesect ex's "Metallic Signal" Ability can not be used to search for Metal-type Mega Evolution Pokémon ex cards that are Basic Pokémon (eg. Mega Mawile ex).[1] Although they are classified as "Mega Evolution Pokémon ex", as they are Basic Pokémon they are not considered "Evolution Pokémon".
