Cynthia, who uses a Garchomp in all games in which she appears as an opponent, and the interior of her room in Sinnoh's Pokémon League as it appears in Pokémon Diamond and Pearl, are featured in the illustration. The effect of the Royal Blades attack additionally references Cynthia's self-titled card. This card is based on the Garchomp from Ultra Prism.
