Delcatty (エネコロロ Enekororo) is a side character in Pokémon Chamo-Chamo ☆ Pretty ♪.
History
Delcatty first appeared in CCP21, in which she shyly approached Torchic to ask if she was in a relationship with Poochyena. Relieved upon hearing Torchic's denial, Delcatty asked her to deliver a flower to Poochyena for her. After Torchic failed to give him the flower, she advised Delcatty to confess her feelings directly. After Delcatty did so, Poochyena revealed he was not interested in romance, and she took it well.
In CCP36, Delcatty invited Torchic to join her in making chocolates for their crushes on Valentine's Day. As they baked, Delcatty correctly suspected Torchic was in love with Poochyena, but apologized after she denied it. Despite having been rejected by Poochyena before, Delcatty was happy to try again to show her affection, even if it scared her. When she gifted her chocolates to Poochyena, he assumed she was giving it to him on platonic terms, which she went along with.
In CCP42, when Torchic insisted on forgetting about Poochyena upon moving back to the city, Delcatty scolded her for lying to herself. The two agreed that if Delcatty managed to get together with Poochyena, she would send word back, and Torchic would cheer her on. Delcatty seemingly followed through with this in CCPB2, when she sent Torchic a letter to tell her they started dating. It is later revealed that Delcatty had orchestrated this to push Torchic to follow her heart and act on her feelings.
Character
Delcatty is very shy, especially around Poochyena, whom she has feelings for. Despite being rivals with Torchic for Poochyena's love, Delcatty has no animosities toward her. When Torchic is finally honest about her crush on Poochyena, Delcatty is willing to help the two get together, showing her kindhearted nature.
