Cyrus (EP135)
- If you were looking for the boss of Team Galactic, see Cyrus.

Cyrus (Japanese: タマキ Tamaki) is a character of the day who appeared in the Pokémon the Series: Gold and Silver episode Grin to Win!. He is Sonrisa's neighbor and, like many of the people in Bloomingvale, a Sunflora Trainer. He is known to have won the Sunflora of the Year award three times.
History
In the Pokémon the Series: Gold and Silver episode Grin to Win!, Team Rocket broke into Cyrus's greenhouse, hoping to steal a Sunflora for the upcoming Sunflora Festival. Cyrus was alerted to the heist after Meowth inadvertently activated the alarm. While Jessie and James escaped, Cyrus found Meowth trapped in a net and tied him up on discovery. Misty, upon whispering her plan to Ash, told Cyrus that Meowth was an innocent Pokémon that must have been corrupted by the two that ran away, and convinced him to transfer Meowth into their custody.
Later, Meowth translated to Sonrisa that her Sunflora, nicknamed Sunny, had been so gloomy lately because another Sunflora it used to play around with, Cyrus's earlier Sunflora called Gwendela, was not around anymore. The group asked Cyrus where Gwendela was, and Cyrus explained that he had traded that Sunflora yesterday for one of Nurse Joy's Pokémon. Later, at the competition, Cyrus was one of the final contestants for the prize. His participating Dorabelle was shown to be humongous in comparison to regular Sunflora, being taller than an average-sized person. Cyrus and Dorabelle went on to lose to Sonrisa and Sunny.

Cyrus's giant Sunflora, nicknamed Dorabelle, was entered into the Sunflora Festival held in Bloomingvale and was the runner-up to Sonrisa's Sunflora, Sunny. It was not given a nickname in the Japanese version.
The last contestants were Sunny, Dorabelle, and Meowth, who was dressed as a Sunflora. Meowth's disguise was eventually rumbled and James then activated huge mirrors, which reflected light and made Dorabelle and the other Sunflora's heads grow to immobilize them. However, Ash, his friends, and Sonrisa were able to send Team Rocket blasting off. With a great smile and a dazzling performance, the judges awarded Sunny the title of winner, in favor of Dorabelle.
None of Dorabelle's moves are known.
