Release information

A Cosmos Holofoil variant of this card was released in the Diamond & Pearl Collection in August 2008.

In Japan, a promotional Cosmos Holofoil version was awarded as a prize for those who participated and won battles during the 2008 Spring Battle Roads in March of that year. While there were plans to award this in April as well, only the 2 scheduled tournaments in March were held due to a threat letter received by staff. The threat letter caused the remaining three tournaments in April to be cancelled. This effected the distribution and population of both this card and the Miracle Diamond card.

Notice and apology for the cancellation of "Pokémon Card Game Battle Road Spring★2008"

The Pokémon Card Game Battle Road Spring★2008 was originally scheduled to be held for a total of seven days at five venues nationwide starting on Sunday, March 23, 2008. However, we received a letter from an unknown sender stating that the Kanto Tournament (scheduled to be held on April 12 and 13) would be disrupted.

In response to this situation, we have carefully discussed the matter with the relevant facilities, and, as we consider the safety of our customers to be our top priority, we have unfortunately decided to cancel the Kanto Tournament, as well as the Chubu and Kyushu Tournaments scheduled afterwards, as detailed below. We regret that we are unable to provide details in order to avoid interfering with the investigation, and we ask for your understanding.

We would like to offer our deepest apologies to our customers who were looking forward to participating in this tournament, for this unfortunate situation having come to pass.[1]
