Bad Break (Japanese: P変化技使用時能力ダウンG Group Stat Reduction When Pokémon Uses Status Move) is a family of skills in Pokémon Masters EX.
Effect
When the sync pair successfully uses a status move, it has a chance of lowering a stat (Attack, Defense, Sp. Atk, Sp. Def, Speed, accuracy, or evasiveness) of each of the targets by one stat rank. The skill can range from Bad Break 1 to Bad Break 9, with higher numbered skills resulting in a higher chance of activation. Bad Break 9 will always lower one of the opponents' stats.
The skill will act independently of the move's innate chance of lowering one of the opponents' stats (if applicable). If the Pokémon has access to more than one Bad Break skill, each will have a chance of activating independently of each other.
