Alola Challenge

MVP Medal for the Alola Challenge

The Alola Challenge (Japanese: VS アローラ VS Alola) is one of the possible monthly Champion Stadium challenges in Pokémon Masters EX. It was first made available on October 11, 2021.

Like all Champion Stadium challenges, players need to defeat four Elite Four members to challenge the Champion. They can be challenged in any order, but different special parameters are applied to each round. The Elite Four members are Hala, Molayne, Olivia, Acerola, and Kahili, with Hala and Molayne switching between weeks. The Champion is either Kukui or Hau.

The Alola Challenge has been available in the Champion Stadium a total of eight times:

  • October 11 to November 8, 2021
  • February 7 to March 7, 2022
  • July 4 to August 1, 2022
  • May 1 to June 5, 2023
  • December 4, 2023 to January 1, 2024
  • July 1 to August 5, 2024
  • February 3 to March 3, 2025

Music

Each member of the Elite Four has their own unique battle theme, which is a remix of the standard Alola Elite Four battle theme. Some of these songs include melodies from other themes from Pokémon Sun and Moon as well. Hau and Kukui also use unique battle themes in their battles.
