We Should Kiss America is a satirical political music video by the artist Hot Dad that was released on October 9th, 2020. Released during the COVID-19 pandemic and the lead up to the heated 2020 American election the music video encourages the listener to kiss a variety of items, while avoiding kissing items that could be seen as unpatriotic.

Tropes used in We Should Kiss America include:
  • Bad Dreams: Hot Dad starts the song by talking about how they awoke in sweat. The September 11th attacks and Benghazi are implied to be the cause of his poor sleep.
  • Blatant Lies: In-Universe Hot Dad claims that Hillary Clinton and Barack Obama lied about people not caring about a lack of pledge of allegiance in the movie theaters.
