These things about Space Jam: A New Legacy are subjective - not everyone will agree with all of them.

• Just Here for Godzilla: Many fans of WB properties admitted to seeing the film for the cameos.
• Older Than You Think: The Looney Tunes spoofed The Matrix in a web cartoon two decades before this film came out.
• One-Scene Wonder: Rick and Morty, who found Taz.
• Overshadowed by Controversy: You only probably heard about this movie because Warner Bros decided to dramatically alter Lola's character design of the first movie to make her well, not a Ms. Fanservice, or because they decided to announce Pepe Le Pew wasn't going to be in this movie because radical feminists claim the character promotes rape.
• Sequelitis: The film is generally considered a step backwards from the first film, with an even more bare-bones plot and numerous and pointless cameos from Warner Bros. properties it feels at some point like an extended ad for their streaming service HBO Max. And this is a sequel to a movie that was never regarded as classic and pointed out as an extended ad to Jordan's return to basketball.
• Spiritual Licensee: The movie is basically if WB made Kingdom Hearts.
• They Wasted a Perfectly Good Character:
  • The Nerdlucks return, but their animation was recycled from the first movie with them cheering for the Goon Squad and nothing else.
  • Jim Carrey was initally reported to return as the Mask, but in the final film, the character is played by someone else with no lines.
• Took the Bad Film Seriously: Don Cheadle had a good performance as Al-G Rhythm.
• Unfortunate Implications: Pepe Le Pew's gimmick of relentlessly pursuing his romantic interests hasn't aged well and led to his parts being cut, which is understandable - removing him from the film while leaving references to A Clockwork Orange intact? Not so much.
• What Do You Mean It's for Kids?: The film is filled with cameos from properties with mature content such as Rick and Morty, Pennywise... A Clockwork Orange!?
