  • Deleted Scene:
    • At the Munson family's dinner, Logan talked about Jean Grey's death. This was removed to avoid referencing X-Men: The Last Stand.
    • At Eden, one of the mutant children talked to Logan about his adventures with Sabretooth. This was removed to avoid referencing X-Men Origins: Wolverine.
    • In the final battle, a mutant was able to control a soldier and kill the soldier. This was removed because said mutant would be overpowered.
  • Doing It for the Art:
    • Hugh Jackman took a pay cut to help secure the film's R-rating.
    • James Mangold made this film out of love for Western films and to give Wolverine a great final film.
  • The Other Darrin: Stephen Merchant replaced Tómas Lemarquis (who played Caliban on X-Men: Apocalypse).
