Lilo & Stitch (2025 film)

Lilo & Stitch is an updated adeptation of Lilo & Stitch released in 2025 by Disney. The movie is primarily done in live action, with frequent special effects used for representating alien beings and technology mixed in.

The story follows an escaped alien named Stitch, who runs into a girl named Lilo on a Hawaiian island. Pursued by a villainous scientist Jumba, with another alien accompanying him to keep him under control, Stitch evades their pursuit while growing closer to Lilo and her family.

• CIA: Cobra Bubbles introduces himself as a member of the CIA to the aliens.
• Determinator: Nani goes through great lengths to keep her family together.
• The Dog Is an Alien: Stitch is described by Lilo as a dog, despite being a blue alien. At least one character buys it when they are seemingly surprised Stitch can talk.
• Extreme Omnivore: Stitch eats and drinks a number of things that are normally inedible.
• Frying Pan of Doom: Lilo ends up using a frying pan as a weapon in a pinch.
• The Greys: The alien councilwoman has grey skin.
• Paper-Thin Disguise: Cobra Bubbles dresses casually when acting as a social services director. People buy it for the most part, but Lilo immediately notices his tattoo and says he doesn’t look like a social worker.
• Pint-Sized Powerhouse: Stitch is rather powerful, despite his small size.
• Planet Killer: Played for Laughs when the alien councilwoman asks an overeager underling if they are ready to destroy earth when it becomes clear Pleakly and Jumba are failing in their mission, which they receive an affirmative answer to. She quickly responds that she was just making a little joke.
• Ridiculously Cute Critter: Stitch is very cute for an alien troublemaker.
• Tractor Beam: An alien ship uses one to pick up Jumba.
• Weaksauce Weakness: Stitch is seemingly unable to swim. Being underwater is one of the few times he is less able to survive then a normal human.
