These things about Dark Phoenix (film) are subjective - not everyone will agree with all of them.

• Awesome Music: Hans Zimmer's music is surprisingly good.
• Sequelitis: The film is the least regarded of the X-Men Beginnings series.
• Signature Line: "The women are always saving the men around here. You might want to think about changing the name to X-Women." Not for a being a good and accurate line, but because it is not only inaccurate but in the very previous scene Nightcrawler, a man, saved Mystique's life in space. It's like a preview of how much worse the movie was going to become after the starting scene.
• Tainted by the Preview: The trailers were lackluster like the film.
• They Wasted a Perfectly Good Character: Evan Peters' Quicksilver only appeared in a few scenes.
• Took the Bad Film Seriously: Michael Fassbender did a decent job as Magneto.
• Tough Act to Follow: The releases of X-Men: Days of Future Past, Logan and Deadpool 2 made this film a really tough act to follow.
• Vindicated by History: The film's failure caused a positive reevaluation of X-Men: The Last Stand for trying something different with the Dark Phoenix Saga.
