Chirin no Suzu/Nightmare Fuel


Chirin no Suzu is one of the darkest works of Takashi Yanase next to Little Jumbo and The Kindly Lion and it shows.

  • Wor gobbling up Chirin's entire family/flock...offscreen
  • In the anime version, Chirin gets horribly burned during his transformation into a Darth Vader-like ram.
  • Wor using his skills on an antelope. This is the only time we see blood in any version.
  • Chirin giving the guard dogs a Curb Stomp Battle before going after his family in the anime version.
  • Chirin's final act of murdering Wor is chilling, but emotional.
